-Hola, ¿eres Miranda, verdad? Voy a tu instituto.

Era aquel chico. El chico que vi en el pasillo. ¿Por qué me enviaba una petición? Si me habia pillado espiándole...

CHAPTER 7 (NOVEL)

Hope you like it :) say if you want the next one! Thank you!

That was the first night I had a nightmare that had Alex included. I had never thought that could happen. The dream was one of the worst I'd had, but overall, frustrating. I was alone, at the school corridors, all the windows were closed and the lights were off. There was absolute silence, which was terrifying.

I could see nothing at all, but suddenly a light lit at the centre of the passage, shinning hard, and there he was. I walked towards him, so I could hug him and feel protected in his arms. But when I was almost there that light went off. I hugged him, I hugged him as strong as I could, but when the lights came on, he wasn't there. Then the building was completely illuminated, and the white walls reflected a blinding light.

I walked to the end of the corridor. I decided to run, for some reason, but I got lost. I couldn't understand why I was lost in my own school. But soon I realised: it wasn't my high school. I saw a poster were the name was written, but the white walls, blinding me, wouldn't let me read it properly. I leaned on a railing, but this collapsed, and I fell to the abyss.

At that moment I woke up, screaming. My mom came in, scared.
“Darling, are you okay? Why were you screaming?”
“It's okay mom, just a nightmare.” I answered.
“Do you need something?” she asked.
“No, mom, I'm okay, thanks.”

She gave me a hug and kissed my forehead like mothers do, but I couldn't go back to sleep.
I couldn't understand the dream I'd had. Another school, Alex... Everything was really confusing inside my head.
Once more, I cried. I didn't know why I was doing it. I was lucky it was Saturday night and I wouldn't have to go to school next day, facing another tiring day, after that. I put on the TV, cause my eyes were wide open. I clicked MTV, and at some point I fell asleep.

…

The next day, at those last hours of the weekend, I went to the bathroom to have a shower. I needed to relax my whole mind. While I got undressed, I hears a beep. It was my phone. I grabbed it and when I saw the screen, I saw I had a sms. It was Alex. No way. I read it, and it said:

Miranda! See how I do
reply?? They've fixed my phone
at last hehe!
How r u? XO (L)

I smiled. Now I did want to go to school. I got dressed and wetn to my room. While I dried my hair I let the computer to turn on, it took ages, but it was the only one I had.
I finished tidying up the bathroom and sat down. I saw a message on the screen, it was from Facebook. I had a notification. I opened the tag and read the white box:

“Eric Summer wants to be your friend.”
-Hi, you're Miranda, right? We're in the same high school.

It was that guy. The one I'd seen at the corridor the last day.Why did he want to add me on facebook? He'd caught me “spying” him...
Before accepting, I took a look at his profile. He was my age. Most of his photos were sort of artistic. “The Beach”, “Berlin”, “Nature in Hawaii”... He had taken them all. It seemed like the boy had travelled quite a lot. Then I saw a photograph that caught my attention: it was his family and him at the hospital. His dad was apparently the one laying on the bed. They all smiled. Besides him were his mother and a little girl approximately 7 years old, blond, blue eyes.
But his look was what startled me. He was smiling too, but something in his eyes told me that inside, he was feeling a terrible sadness.
I went back, clicked “Accept”, and then my mom called me. Dinner was ready.

CAPITULO SEIS (NOVELA)

-Chicas, no sé qué pensar.

SIXTH CHAPTER (NOVEL)

Hii :) So I've been some days without posting any more chapters but as I said with thos two entries I'm Sorry, I had lots of work and it's been impossible for me... But here's the sixth chapter :) I hope you guys enjoy it, and I really appreciate anybody reading this!

In the last chapter, Miranda sent -at last!- a sms to Alex, but he didn't answer... let's find out why...
Also, do you remember the cute boy who was with Mary (the "bad one" let's say) at the very first chapter? Why am I asking this? Well, find out... ;)

It was Monday and I didn't want to go to class. I wished really hard for not to see him that day, it was humiliating enough that he had ignored me. But luck was not by my side, as always, and he had to be there at the changeover.
I tried looking away, so he didn't even notice I existed. But that didn't help at all, and when I was grabbing the books from my locker, I heard my name.
“Miranda!”
I sighed and turned around slowly, I didn't want to stare into that perfect face I would never get to kiss.
“Yes?” I said.
“I didn't answer back cause my phone's not working properly, okay? Well, see you later, I have to go, I got maths now.” he said rapidly.

He turned around with his calculator in his hand. I stood there wanting to say something, I would have liked to answer, but I didn't even know what to say. So better having my mouth closed than saying something and screw it.

While I stood there thinking, I heard chuckling behind me and someone touched my shoulder. Lucy and Carol. They had heard everything.
“You texted him, uh? And she said she didn't want to do anything.” said Lucy.
“Yeah... hahaha” said Carol.
“You're gonna explain everything right now, aren't ya?” Lucy was soo nosy at times.
I had to.
“I don't know what to think. Maybe it's just an excuse cause he felt bad for not answering back. My phone didn't work? Everybody knows that excuse. On the other sied, he came to tell me in person, which could mean the phone is really broken. At least he said he was sorry. Guys tell me what to do!” Again I was getting nervous and spoke too much.
“Calm down, Miranda. You're getting all hysterical for a simple message!” said Carol.
“Yeah, calm down for a second.” said Lucy. “Let's go to class.”

The next class was History. Now we were starting the same school routine of every year. Homework, homework and even more homework. It wouldn't suprise me if that week we began with exams.
I can't remember what class was the next one. I was still thinking about Alex. I had so many doubts in my mind and so many few answers! The thing is, Alex had always been nice to me, we had never fought. That was a good thing, for sure. But, by the other side, we didn't really speak that much to consider him a close friend. If I didn't know him that much, how could I be falling for him?
I couldn't continue like this. There were lots, LOTS of girls behind him, most of them prettier than me. If he was capable of chosing Mary, then he was capable of chosing anyone.

I was getting ready to go home. It had been a strange day. There was not anyone else at the corridor, and I suddenly felt really thirsty. I grabbed my bag and went to the sink to drink some water. I turned the corner and suddenly stopped. At the end of the other corridor, I saw the boy who had been with Mary the first day, the foreigner.
I hid near the sink, and watched. He had his hand pressed against the wall, his head down. He looked tired, or disappointed.
He suddenly raised his head and saw me. His honey eyes stared at me really intensely, as if searching for an answer. I stared back, waiting. He grabbed his bag from the floor and left the hall, running towards the school door.
