SEARCHING FOR THE STARS: SECOND CHAPTER

HERE'S THE NEXT CHAPTER! (IT'S ALSO THE LAST ONE HAHA) Hope you enjoy it! :)

“Are you nuts?”
“No, seriously, trust me, please.”
I closed them. He guided me for a few seconds and let go of my hand.
“Open them.”
What I saw could have been taken from the most beautiful painting in the world. Right in front of me I had the great extension of water at the beach. The sea was black like charcoal, and even though it was night time, it made a big contrast with the sky, that was intensely blue… The stars decorated the sky and each one of them looked special. But the moon, white, round and shining, glittered at the very top, provoking a white reflection in the middle of the tranquil sea, emphasizing each of its curls.
What that open space made me feel was incredible. I couldn’t stop appreciating each piece of that glorious landscape.
Then I remembered with who I was. I turned around to watch him with his hands in the pockets. He was looking at me, and not at that landscape. The smoothest air touched our skin and everything seemed to be floating.
“Do you like it?”
I could only answer with a smile.
“Why did you bring me here?”
“Because, I know the feeling you get when you see this.”
“So?”
“It’s the only way I can explain how you make me feel.”
Wow. So this is a dream. Andrea, wake up. I pinched my hand to check… ouch!
“Really?” I said.
He nodded. Meanwhile, he came closer little by little. He joined his hands with mine and his gaze mixed with mine. What I had right in front of me was much more beautiful than any view. The gleam in his eyes beat any landscape.
I could hear the waves apart, but my heart beats where much louder, as well as his. Our hearts were only a few centimetres apart.
Music: 'skies are crying, I am watching…’
No way. Unbelievabe. The phone had to ring right now.
“That’s my mom.” I managed to say. “She must be wondering where I am.”
I answered the phone call, just to hear my mom screaming at me, worried… and the typical questions: ‘Where are you? Don’t you know what the time is?’...
“Sorry, but I really need to go.”
I ran through the terrace until I reached the metallic door. Suddenly, I felt how my arm was being pulled backwards once more while I heard him say: ‘You can’t leave until you give me this.’
When I turned around, he grabbed my head gently to get closer and kiss me. He seemed almost furious, without control. Both of us had been waiting for this moment, and the desire to have each other was fixed with that kiss.
Once separated, we laughed.
“At last” he said.
“At last.”
